Mar 16, 2018 | News

During 21st – 22nd of March, Snorre Nordrum Solvang, Business Manager at Elisa Automate will be present, speaking at the Zero Touch & Carrier Automation Congress in Madrid on the topic of Bringing zero-touch automation to mobile networks – the use-case of Elisa. The Zero Touch & Carrier Automation Congress is arranged for the first time as a response to operators making automation of their networks one of their top priorities.

Elisa is currently the leading mobile operator in Finland, where mobile data per user is among the highest in the world. The Finnish Communications Regulatory Authority reported lately that monthly average mobile data consumption per Finn was almost 26 gigabytes during the second half of 2017. Despite explosive growth, Elisa has been able to grow, keeping the CAPEX and OPEX flat. In the presentation at the congress, Snorre will elaborate on the valuable learnings on how to succeed with zero-touch implementation.
