During the 09th – 10th of October, Elisa Automate will be present at the RAN World Congress in Rome. Being a growing mobile automation provider, Elisa Automate is participating as an important sponsor of this year’s event. The representative Elisa Automate team will be present with a stand were some of the most recent work in mobile network automation and how this can improve operators networks and cost levels will be presented.

In addition, will Elisa Automate’s Head of Sales and Business Development, Esa Vesterinen, be leading the RAN World Working Group 1: Optimisation, SON and automation during the end of the first day. “Extreme optimisation will require extreme automation, and this is where SON comes into play. How has SON evolved over the past year and where is it going? How can automation incorporate machine learning into its algorithms to fully optimise the available network?” are some of the questions being answered during the session.

Also joining the RAN World event in Rome is Elisa’s own CTO, Kalle Lehtinen. During RAN World Congress, Kalle will be giving a keynote on optimizing RAN operations through operations and participating the operator panel discussion on “what is the cost-benefit of analysis of 5G?”. Elisa could earlier this summer announce the world’s first commercial 5G network, which was opened in the city of Tampere in Finland.

In 2018, RAN World is hosted together with TIM Italy in Rome. We hope to see you at the conference to discuss the future of mobile network automation and 5G. You can already get in touch with us here!
